Above the windswept coastal cliffs of Kalbarri National Park, Venus sets in the west as the Milky Way shines overhead. The red path leading the way to the spectacular sights beyond. A small tuft of grass in the foreground gives a hint to the local landscape.
The Southern Cross is just barely above the horizon on the left of frame, soon to set with the Milky Way. In this position the Southern Cross appears upside down compared to how we normally expect to see it when high in the southern sky. The Pointers (alpha and beta centauri) are slightly up and to the right of the Southern Cross.
As with all my prints, these are true long lasting photographic prints, individually prepared and signed by me the photographer. Each print is shipped with care information and identification label for framing
