The
Transit of Venus on the 6th June 2012 was the last such event
until the year 2117. We are lucky enough to have captured some
wonderful photographs of the event, they are available for
you to buy through this gallery.
The collection of
photographs shown are intended to form a set representing the
days proceedings. I would love to sell them framed in sets as
triptics and sets of 4, but this isn't practical for me to do
over the internet right now, with my current availability. These
photographs below are available individually rolled, framed, or
on canvas.

The end of the Transit of Venus, with the planet Venus
just barely touching the edge of the Sun as it leaves.
Clouds grow and eventually cover the Sun in a fitting
finale to the days events. |
