Taken in the evening twilight of December 1st 2008 this
photograph is of the smiley conjunction of the Moon, Venus and
Jupiter, as seen from Perth, Western Australia.
This is an up close view of the trio (Moon, Venus - top,
Jupiter - right). The illuminated crescent of the moon is
brightly exposed showing the smile while the part of the moon in
shadow is slightly illuminated by earth-shine.
As with all our prints these are of a high quality archival nature, lasting at least 80 years before noticable fading would occur. All prints are signed by the photographer, Roger Groom.
