The Large and Small Magellanic Clouds are well known southern
hemisphere celestial objects. They are almost as bright in the
sky as the Milky Way, and for much of the southern hemisphere
are always above the horizon. The Magellanic Clouds are in fact
galaxies that are orbiting our own Milky Way galaxy. This
photograph shows the Large magellanic Cloud with globlues of
nebulosity and star clusters that make up the irregular shape of
the galaxy.
As with all our photographs, prints of the Large Magellanic Cloud come
signed individually by the photographer and professionally
printed on archival stock.
